songs that would be completely inappropriate as wedding songs
Every Breath You Take, The Police (I'm sorry, this song is not romantic. It's stalkerific.)
Baby, Now That I've Found You, The Foundations (I'm going to give you everything even though you don't know I exist!)
She's Having My Baby, Paul Anka (shotgun!)
White Wedding, Billy Idol (for similar reasons...)
Danny's Song, Kenny Loggins (it would be pretty other than the fact that it's about the fact that she's pregnant?)
One, U2 (isn't this song about breaking up? I guess the chorus, but...seriously, what?)
Suspicious Minds, Elvis (...)
I'll Make Love To You, Boyz II Men (...yeah, no.)
Invisible, Clay Aiken (Yay! Creepy stalking!)
You Light Up My Life, Debbie Boone (...cos it's about God?)
Tears in Heaven, Eric Clapton (dead children, yay!)
Cream, Prince
Hit Me Baby One More Time, Britney Spears (aside from the fact that Britney + weddings = no, not exactly the message you want to send people...)
Another One Bites the Dust, Queen (wrong but also hilarious!)
If You Want to Be Happy, any version ("if you want to be happy for the rest of your life, never make a pretty woman your wife..." again, hysterical, though wrong.)
This post brought to you by the fact that I had Baby, Now That I've Found You stuck in my head (yet again), and had a discussion with Mark about how it was "a restraining order waiting to happen." I still find the song catchy and happy, though, even after that revelation. I spent last night thinking about songs that would be completely inappropriate for wedding songs (or being played at weddings at all, really).
Anyone else got anything?
EDIT'D!: Mark and I now have a two-page-long list of completely inappropriate/scarily appropriate songs to play at (our?) a wedding. Let's just say that "When I'm Sixty-Four," "Young Girl" (get out of my mind! my love for you is way out of line!) and "Young Blood" are all on there. ;)

I added that, and some that my brother and I came up with at work today. :D
Or what about "Hit Me Baby One More TIme"?
What's hilarious is that one our friends walked down the aisle to "Another One Bites the Dust".
I looove it.
Oooh, both very good!
I think they played "Another One Bites the Dust" at the wedding I went to a few weeks ago when the bride and groom came out onto the dance floor, which was awesome.
I fully expect "Only the Good Die Young" to be played prominently at my wedding. :D
